January 3rd Transmission of Peggy singing two songs from the show Die goldigen Funfziger which was probably recorded in 1973



January 22nd Daughter Sande Ann born on the 11th anniversary of the release of I Will Follow Him.

Peggy tells me this photo with the Greek performer Costa Cordalis was taken when Peggy was rehearsing in Munich for a TV show. During the three weeks Costa fed Sande so Peggy could eat. Apparently the Nanny simply walked out one morning so Peggy had to take Sande to rehearsals with her. (A more reliable Nanny was later appointed.)


July 12th Peggy performs Sommerliebe Good-Bye on the ZDF Drehscheibe show


August 1st Appears on the West German ZDF TV in Ausschnitt 8 x 1 In Noten with Mary Roos, Su Kramer, Peter Kraus, Roberto Blanco & Silvio Francesco. Short video clips with Peggy from this show below.





September 7th Appears as herself in the 5th episode of the TV Game Show Am laufenden Band and sings Geh nach Haus und überst mal (a cover version of Alan Price’s Jarrow Song First released in English earlier in 1974)


September 14th Peggy performs on the Spanish TV show Senoras y Senores.


September 23rd Peggy sings Geh' nach Haus und ub' erst mal on the show Musik aus Studio B


November 16th Peggy is in Pirmasens, Germany recording SWF's Rendevous nach Noten

November 22nd -23rd Peggy performs at the Schlager Festival, Kerkrade, Limburg. (Poster below followed by a feature on Peggy by the Dutch Magazine Veronika.)

Amiga records release the album Meine Welt as a Music Cassette and vinyl LP. This was restricted to the DDR Intershop (Tourist shop but East Germans could shop there with Hard Currency.)
